Nicole Ari Parker (born Nicole Ari Parker) is an American actress who works in the fields of film, television and the theatre. Contractor Born at Mumbai in India she was raised in Nigeria from the time she was seven. She was already exposed to a lot of travel and other cultures since a early age. She went to boarding school from the age of 7 until 9 in London. Then the family returned home to Toronto (Canada) where they spent her entire childhood. She was a part of the audition for the part in the Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and won. Her performance was lauded for the 92 shows she appeared in. She won the 2002 award for the most outstanding production of the Year by Canadian critics. She was given the chance to enroll in the Stratford Conservatory. It allows only eight males and four women for a crash course in the art of classical theatre. Contractor was eager to accept.
